Holten-Richmond Middle School Spelling Bee

Danvers Educational Enrichment Partnership proudly sponsored the 10th Annual Holten-Richmond Middle School Spelling Bee on Thursday, February 7th.

31 students from grades 6, 7 and 8 competed for the opportunity to represent Danvers at the regional competition in Lynn in March.

The winner of the Lynn competition will advance to the Scripps National Spelling Bee in Washington, D.C.

The winner of this year’s HRMS Spelling Bee is 7th grader, Isha Patel. Isha correctly spelled the championship word “tangine”. Isha will now take a written spelling test to compete for the opportunity to participate in the Regional Spelling Bee at Lynn City Hall Memorial Auditorium on March 13.
