The Danvers Educational Enrichment Partnership is proud to be sponsoring the 8th Annual Holten-Richmond Middle School Spelling Bee.
44 students from grades 6, 7 and 8 will compete for the opportunity to represent Danvers at the regional competition in Lynn on March 10.
The winner of the Lynn competition will advance to the Scripps National Spelling Bee in Washington, D.C.
This year’s spelling bee will be held in the Danvers High School auditorium on Thursday, February 16, from 6:00 to 7:30pm.
Admission is $2 for adults and $1 for students and seniors.
All proceeds go to support DEEP and our mission to enhance and broaden community support for public education and to provide funding for innovative and challenging programs for students and educators in the Danvers Public Schools.
